Forester to outback D/R
Hi everyone, sorry for jumping straight in with a question ,have been watching on here for a while, but here it goes.
I'm in need of replacing the d/r 5spd in my 2000 outback, I recently found a d/r 5spd in a 2000 forester 2ltr.
My question is can anyone provide me with the drive ratios and final drive ratio, for these two boxes. I don't want to get this box and find it doesn't have suitable ratios due to the different set up of the forester, e.g. 2ltr and I think taller wheels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just buy the forester box with the rear diff and replace both.
Pretty sure they have different ratios.
I think the forester would have 4.11 but im not sure.
Best way to check is to grab the TZ number and google it.
Hope this helps
