EA82 Tridon Thermostat part numbers std and highflow .

Post by discopotato03 » Tue May 05, 2009 6:57 pm

These are the part numbers for Tridon thermostats , normal size and highflow valve size in 77/170 deg and 82/180 deg .

TT241-170 Normal 77/170
TT241-180 Normal 82/180

TT2041-170 HF 77/170
TT2041-180 HF 82/180

TTG15 Is listed as their EA81 thermostat housing gasket but it works fine on EA82 MPFI normal and spider manifolds .

The valve sizes are approx 29 and 33mm .

Yes , I think the std size Tridon ones are ~ $12-14 and the larger ones just under 22 .

Because of my haste and at the time dying light I fitted the 82/180 (I bought both) by mistake but it seems to work quite well in the cooler weather .
I think fuel consumption is up a tad but its possibly the Castrol synthetic 25W50 oil running at the right temp , not 100% sure .

Cheers A .

Random fact; Ea82 and Nissan Silvia S13 CA18 engines use
the same thermostat
