Yes, BUT: the 4wd shafts are thicker in the shaft diametre.
Other things to note:
The NA carbie shafts are a 23 spline cup to diff stub
The NA MPFI shafts are 25 spline cup to diff stub and is the same size cup to the carbie NA unit
The MPFI turbo shafts are 25 spline cup to diff stub and is a larger cup size to the other shafts...
Cheers

I ran on a set of 2wd shafts without any problems - even with a welded diff they were fine.
Its just a difference I've noticed between the two. The new set I've got are the thick shafts - I think this may be how the 2wd ones are now too, so only one aftermarket part for both subi's.
If you've got a set of 2wd shafts they should be fine, I doubt you'd snap a shaft up front...

Sure it's not the other way around? Havn't had any to compare myself but I'm pretty sure (in Liberty's at least) the 2wd shafts are the thicker ones. Makes sense when u think about it because all the power goes through them instead of being shared between front and back.
Either way, when you are talking L series, it's not a difference worth worrying about.
