Need Exhaust header gasket Pt Nos confirmed .

Post by discopotato03 » Sat Mar 28, 2009 12:24 am

Hi all , can someone confirm that the genuine EA82T exhaust port gaskets are part no 44022GA320 as there was some confusion at Tynons Subaru spares today .
Also I asked them to get me the gear linkage bushings which are supposed to be 633124170 .

Cheers , A .

yeah they both look right to me the ol' vin number would tell me for sure but i guess you dont have that ;-) gaskets should be around twenty bucks and the bushes about three or four there looks to be two sets of bushes on the linkage part number for those is 633124180 they about six bucks each hope that helps

Luckily I had the packets the Spider manifold gaskets came in so they were a re order .

I was able to give them the VIN number off my 86 RX Turbo but the one off the Aust 9/87 AWD Turbo Vortex that donated my engine and spare trans is incomplete . Maybe someone who breathes Vortexes can help here .

What I have is JFTAX7DROBG302xx , yes the x's I'm not giving out .
The RX's VIN is seventeen figures long and has a six digit number on the end where my supplied Vortex one only has five .
Also the RX VIN has an extra number ie JF"2"AC where the Vortexes I was given is JFTAX .

If anyone can help with Aust spec Turbo AWD Vortex VINS I'd be most appreciative .

Cheers , Adrian .

PS I hope those shift bushes come with the nylon and rubber inners as a set .

I got to the bottom of the Aust 11/87 manual Turbo AWD Vortex VIN .
It should have been JF2AX7DR0BG3023xx .
Some of you may want to note that down in case you want to order geniune spares for the locally available AWD Spider Turbo variant .

Actually I'm going to check if the short case AWD box (locking type) has unique gaskets for the rear extension housing and rear bearing cover plate .
Gaskets are not normally expensive so if still available why not have real ones .

Cheers A .
