Rev counter stopped working - L series

After removing and reinstalling the L-series dash, the revcounter stopped working. Does anyone have any clues as to what I should look for to get it to work again?

Also, the vent on the left (with the wheel to turn it on and off) now works in reverse. Ie, when I turn the wheel to 'off' the air goes on, and vice versa. Again any help would be appreciated.
