ok so i have a 1990 lib gen 1 with a ej22
every mornin or after its been sat 4 a while it will miss fire and even stall out when i start it

its got a new air & fuel filter i changed the plugs 2 days ago the old plugs appered to b a browny rusty colour i pulled a plug bak out yesterday it was the same rusty colour

the problem seams to b worse if i have the air con on
im thinkin its done a head gasket n the water is getting into the bores it does lose a bit of water.

any1 had anythin like this b4

i use to run it on ULP but since this ive been using PULP and sometimes addin octane booster

get your coolant gas checked.......
but i think your up for a hj....

ye thats wat i thought ive got a gas checker at home but i just dont want it to have done a head gasket i do have a spare ej22 at home i can put it

but yes i think i might b up 4 a rebuild as well dave and i rebuild his rex motor so im sure this will b easyer

no none wat so eva but the exhaust pipe is a nice clean colour

spakatak shutup....its been tested numerous times. No head gasket problems.

My Brumby Used to do that woulnt come good untill it warmed up. Funny thing was that mine would start on all 4 then it would drop back to 3 after running for bout 30secs. This was from a cold start. The coil was the culprat.

Not sure wether yours has coil on plug type though, thats wat i have on mine
