Stripped thread on wheel lug - L series

Post by tommo » Tue Nov 27, 2007 8:47 pm

Hey guys,
So I've stripped the thread on one wheel lug on one hub.
It happened when tightening so it's on there and the wheel's secure but I don't wanna take it off without first having a fix solution.
This is on my L series sedan by the way, front left wheel.
Some of the others are kinda starting to cross thread a bit too so is it worth replacing the whole hub or can you replace those lugs individually?
Thanks,
Tommo.

dont worry too much abuot it tommo

just hit it out with a big hammer and put a new one in

can either buy new ones from a parts shop, or bang a few good ones out at a wreckers
