Hi all,
The 'L' is running great and after 2 weeks of ownership, the fun factor hasn't worn off!
Have only just noticed, however, that the left side of the vehicle sits a fair bit lower than the right:confused: With 240000 on the clock, I guess suspension sagging could be one explanation?
Any ideas:confused:
Anyone else had this happen:confused:
Possible fixes:confused:
Cheers in advance;)

New springs and struts could be required (my recommendation is King and KYB) however also check that they are the same length strut, this should also include checking the bushs. I know that sounds weird however I have seen it before.

Oh, and hope the fun factor last a bit longer yet.

Thanks,
If it happens that I'm up for new springs and struts...any idea on approx cost?
I know that the shocks are relatively new (pedders) and the rear bush (left) is cracked.

Is it possible that one of the struts is broken or damaged? Just a thought as this has happened to me. Had one side of the front of my L sitting a good 10mm lower than the other side. Doesn't affect the drive much at all but is a little bouncier when I push down on that side. I'm planning on getting it fixed soon.

KYB Struts x4 - $600ish
King Springs x4 -$300ish

I'm sure others who have bought more recently can give you more accurate quotes.

Take ur car to your local Pedders workshop and ask them to do that "$14
safety check" oe what ever they call it in the adds. From memory they put the car on the hoist and test the shocks and springs etc. Should be able to tell u whats the problem. And having Pedders gear installed they might be a little nicer to you than going elsewhere.
