ok guys i found out where the rumble comes from . upon fitting new unies i found the left output shaft to have heaps of movment rear dif (up n down) never played with worm drives befor . i was wondering if there is shims behind the retaining plate . or wether it would be better to just buy another diff. if buying is the way to go has anyone got one otu there im on the sunshine coast within 100 od ks would be ok i could pick it up . dont even know what ones wearth any advice guys will help.

What ratio,stickers on the back,?$50 should get you a ok one.

i just had a look its a 3.700 . is there a subi wreaker in brisbane or is that private buying power lol thanks m8 dibs

take the oportunity to step up to at least a 3.9.
are you sure it is the diff and not the inner DOJ?
Very uncommon to do a diff carrier bearing.

well i duno about the carrier bearing i just know i can grab the left half shaft an it moves around in the diff . like i said iv never played with a worm drive . wont a 3.9 make me slower on the road. and how hard is it to change front diffs but for 50 bucks its a cheep quick fix im guesin.
