too much pressure in radiator

why does my water feel the need pour out the overflow container, until most of my water is out of the radiator and the engine starts to get hot?

Oh dear!,
if its so dramatic, almost without doubt a headgasket!, needs repair quickly, no doubt much $ too.

I had a ea82mpfi did the same thing, diagnosed it to be a corroded out gallery on the head. Pumped up the system so well. I could blow the cap off in style

I'd put my money on headgasket too.
Sounds like time for an engine upgrade
Obviously not a good time of year for it though, sorry to hear.

i did have a c02 test done with it coming back all clear, no water in oil, pressure test in radiator ok,
head gasket or corroded out gallery on the head it will have to wait till after christmas.

I had a all clear co2 test once but i still think it ended up being a seperated head gasket.
