big big extender bar to your socket, and put it in gear

loctite works ok .. but then its f**king hard to get off again.

but put it in 3rd or 4th gear and park brake on full or get someone to stand on the brake and you should be able to get it pretty tight

You did check to see that the keyway was in good condition, when they where the pulley is allowed to move and then the bolt becomes loose and further wears the keyway.

The way I do it is to put it in a forward gear without the handbrake, and simultaneously tighten the bolt and attemp to push the car back.
