Got a spare carb that has that part, was wondering if anyone know how to remove the top half of the carb to make it easy to slot the throttle air pump in as it can’t be pulled out, or would I be better off switching the carbs??
I would replace the whole carby, but this depends on 2 things. 1 is the base plate the right size? and 2 is the carby the same or similar model to the one on the engine? if both the answers are yes replace the carby and fill it with upper engine cleaner then wait 10 minutes before you prime it with petrol. it will take a little longer to start but it will clean the carby out.
