ABS on a 2000 liberty

Hey guys need help driving my car I keep noticing that the ABS light is coming on my 2000 2.5 lib is there I way I can clear the fault or does a mechanic need to repair the ABS unit

There is a procedure for extracting a code from the abs computer by shorting 2 wires together. As a general rule, abs faults are usually a faulty sensor at one of the wheels.

I just noticed that I'm losing power as the dashlights keep flicking and he radio will go off and then come back on again I did put a second hand alternator can that cause problems with the power to the car

If it all started soon after changing the alternator, I'd try another one. Drop down to your local auto sparkie and get him to check your charge rate and battery condition.
