How free should my wheels spin?

Post by Wilson#3 » Fri Apr 05, 2013 2:47 pm

I have a 94-95 EJ Subaru Liberty sedan with only about 60,000km on the clock, I noticed last time I had it jacked up that the front rh wheel did not spin that freely, it took 2 hands and a fair bit to rotate it, I also then jacked up the lh side and it felt the same, and I do not think it is brake drag causeing it.
I can feel it moving the drive shaft and int othe gear box, is it because it is 4 wd that it does not seem to spin as freely as other cars I have had or could it be something more serious?

Seems to be normal because it has to go thru the diff then gearbox. Same what Yarney said.
Cheers

I thought it may have been something like that as I was turning everything, but I thought I would ask in case, as I said with the other cars I have had you could spin them easily and they would even spin after you took your hand off it (the wheel).
Better to be sure than have something go wrong, so I thought I would ask.

Thank again for the replies
