hi after many looking round to see where my l series brake fiuld was disappearing to i found the master cylinder leaking , before i get a replacement/rebuild kit is there any other master cylinder that could fit to maybe improve the brakes a little??? just a thought

Probably not. The crossbred kit will improve brakes a little...

The brake master cylinder is responsible for brake feel and pressure to the calipers/slave cylinders. If you replace your master with something larger without changing your calipers/slave cylinders to match you will find that you will have very little pedal feel and that you may have the pedal action that is almost an "instant brake lock" effect...
