hi,
sister came home from work today and said none of her indicators are working, hazards work and all fuses are fine but nothing happens when using the indicator stick .. . . any ideas it's a gen 2 outback so has airbag and shit so i wasn't to keen on pulling the steering wheel off

Get some "contact spray" and give it a good going over without taking it off, usually just mucky contacts.

Does it have an aftermarket immobilizer/alarm? sometimes these play havoc on the indicators. I'd also check the connection from the combo switch to loom.. under the dash near the steering column. If you're unsure (due to airbag stuff) then call Paul from Nicol Auto Electrix on 0418 950 097. He is mobile (southern side) and prices are fair.. tell him you know Paul from RSR Performance and he'll look after you.
