Where to apply engine cleaner on EA82

Hi All.

I am servicing the L tomorrow and am going to flush some Upper engine cleaner through it.

I have heard that on EFI engines it should be sprayed into the vacuum lines and on a carbed engine it should go directly down the barrel of the carb?

Is this true?

Mine is a Carbed EA82 so I would like to get it right so I don't waste $20 worth of cleaner :P

Thanks

the way I did it on my brumby was pull off a vacuum line that goes directly in to the manifold and put about 2/3rds into the manifold. then empty the remains of the can into the carby wait the prescribed time and start your engine and behold the cloud of leftover gunk that the exhaust emits until it is all burnt off

Is like a day spa for a car.

Dynamat is one of the best upgrades to even the most basic ICE system

Enjoy the beers post admiring your work
