hi all im new to this site nt new to suba's im on my second i have an 89 l series 2" lift on king springs and 27" bfg all terains. had lots of problems of late with a subaru mechanic not being able to do wheel bearings. they have done them 3 times so i did it myself this time.
but the problem i have at the moment is she dont like going into lows. it sometimes goes in better when rolling but its the luck of the draw. any thoughts would be awesome.

can you tell us more about why she wont get in low gear?
Are the tyres all the same size?
Has the gearbox been changed/or diff (has to be matching ratios)?
Are you on gravel or off surface to get in low range?
Cheers

it doesnt matter where i am all the tires are the same size and i never used to have the problem. i push the lever up and it is like when you get in between hi and low. hi is fine but its no good to me with 27's. all the gearbox and diff is standard.
and the winter treads have at least 80% left on them

Check the 4wd lever links - there may be a shagged out bush in there somewhere that's not allowing you to select low everytime you want it.
