heya all, been a long time since ive had access to a puter, sorry.

have a question, about ecu codes. i consider myself reasonably competent in the wiring department, however im doing my brain trying to figure this one out.

i did (unknown year, kms) WRX EJ20T into 1990 Brumby, for a friend, and all went smoothly on the mechanical side of things. the wiring i thought was gunna be easy (since i did a full re-wire of my own EJ22Brumby) however not all goes to plan and ive had to get the manuals/webpages out. after having no life in the ecu atall ive got it neally going (but not).

engine was running in a rusty/poorly built ute prior to coversion.

i have fuel ok, intake air ok. and power to the ecu/fuel/main relays. but she dont go.

with the black read connectors connnected, im getting code 11 and 12. crank angle and starter circuit. i have the starter wire tee'd direct from the ignswt, tee'd to c10. i have changed the Crank Sensor with another (from EJ22) and that hasnt helped. somethings funny. (or not):twisted:

any ideas, any body??

With the starter circuit, have you got the starter loading the EJ system or is it just referencing the brumby's original starter circuit that is carrying the load of the starter?

With the wiring, did you do any work on it between the test firing and the installation into the current brumby? It could be that you need a crank angle sensor that suits the loom/ECU or there's a wire that's a-miss for the CAS in the loom somewhere, especially if you've played around with the wiring since the test fire. Also check your plugs at each point in the loom...
