Im chasing a hose diagram, or just some advice on what i connect to where on a Webber 32/36 DGAV/EV carbie. Ive got a friend who has one, But no clue what hoses go where.



*edit* Sorry its A different version to that i was given the wrong details :/ unfortunatley this one does not have a choke. Or any part numbers on it, It does have, to big hoses in the top which we have worked out to be fuel in and out, as well as two tiny outlets near the base, one to just under the throttle butterfly, and one to near the base of the carby. anyone know what these might be?

Have a read through that site, has some good info and diagrams. As for the outlets at the base im sure one goes to the advance on the distributer.

Only thing I have learned about weber carbies is after I bought one off someone in here, who never used it who bought it off someone else, and I never got to try it, sold it to someone who desperately needed one to find out it was as stuffed as his other weber. They may look OK but can wear out in the weirdest of places like where the inner tubes fit into the venturis leak air and stuff and not idle or run very nice at all. The buyer did not pay me in full and must have felt that there was no need as it was stuffed - never seen or heard from him since - which is a good thing in a special kind of way (not a ausubaru dude)

There was a great alfa mechanic here in canberra who used to rebuild them (Service them) for dirt cheap. But short of an italian motor mechanic anyone who specialises in carby tuning should be able to help out. Alfas etc used to come out with these as standard so very common in italian workshops!
