Driving home from work this afternoon, suddenly the battlewagon surges, backfires several times and dies. Oh s**t says me, timing belt! :(
Popped the hood, reached down and pulled out the inspection bung, slid finger into hole and....belt is ok. :-D
Oh no! computer must have died! :(
Turn ignition on, fuel pump fires up, motor winds over and BANG BANG BANG from exhaust.
Hmmmmm....seized/bent a valve? Wound motor over by hand, compression on all four pots, so valves are ok. :-|
Scratch head, mumble mumble mumble....problem in dissy? Pulled dissy cap off and hello? what's this? A small screw? reached down to pick it up and....rotor moves. Pull off rotor, and there's a hole in the side of it. Look at dissy shaft, there's a tapped hole to match.
Smiling like an idiot, put rotor back on, put screw back in hole, dissy cap on, turn key and.....It fires right up. :D
A bloody 20cent screw stopped the whole car. Go figure. ;)

Hehehe... That's a good one! You should have seen me the first time I tried to remove my rotor button, only to find out that it was screwed on!!
