recently got a brumby that i am doing up.... it was farely rusty when i got it but ive started to get rid of most of it. I was wondering if you guys have done anything about rust in the tub? im not sure weather to cut the tub floor out and put checkerplate steel or alloy sheet in there or not....

From those pictures it doesn't look to bad, mostly surface rust, if it was me I'd start with a light, lowish pressure sand blasting and see how much meat if left before I start hacking away at the floor to replace it.

there is some surface rust but it has eaten right in to a few places.. ive been sandblasting the engine bay lately but im quite sure that i will have to replace the tub floor as it is quiet weak and in someparts you can poke a hole through it....
the doors have a bit of rust aswell...

hi iv got a long term prodject and cut the old floor out 1/3 at moment as i said long term will be replacing with commadore ute f/tank covers 2 and a bit is what iv worked out . be cautious near the f/tank as i nicked mine all the best
