Howdy,
Just swapping over the rear backing plates on the brumby to the L-series so I have auto adjusters. The manual adjusters are heavily worn. What wheel cylinders do I use? I'm buying new ones and not sure if I use JB 2489 (15.87mm)or JB 3137 (19.05mm)
Does anyone know which ones I should order?

G'day mate,

I've done the same "conversion" and havn't looked back since. I didn't know there was a difference in the drum size between the MY's and L's. Sunnie the brumby is now running L backing plates with auto adjusting shoe mechanism with the original drum. We havn't had any problems with them.

If by "wheel cylinders" you mean the slave cylinder (the part that pushes the brake shoes outwards) I don't think it really matters, just make sure you do both sides at the same time.

Cheers

Bennie
