L series hubs - just want confirmation 2wd/4wd the same?

Post by El_Freddo » Fri Oct 31, 2008 2:12 pm

G'day all,

I'm looking at replacing all my bearings in second sets of hubs/swing arms. Ive got a second set of swing arms so no problems there; and i've got a set of front hubs from a 2wd.

Now, I can't see any difference in the 2wd hubs to the 4wd hubs. What I want to know for sure (as I already presume I can do this) is: Can I replace the 4wd front hubs with the 2wd front hubs and not have any problems in fitment?

Cheers

Bennie

I believe they should be identical. L series all have front driveshafts and the outer CV splines that go through the hubs are the same.

Sweet! I'll order those parts at my local and get it sorted.
