EA82 injector problems

i've got an EA82 non turbo with blocked injectors i think. When i turn over the engine, the fuel pumps initial burst of fuel is enough to start running for a few seconds and then dies, Unless i'm foot to the floor revving the guts out. Also, whats the standard flow in CC's of the injectors for that engine.

I'm only assuming they are blocked, any ideas on any other possible problem? I've changed pump, filter and flushed the tank

when you start it with your foot to the floor and rev it hard to keep it going, does it sound healthy? does any grey smoke come out of the exhaust? will it return to idle at all? when you floor it does it "stumble" and missfire until its revving really high?

i take it the fuel pressure and flow is ok? is the residual pressure ok? is spark and plug condition ok? is your ignition timing/cam timing all ok?

It sounds off. Nothing like the normal note. No grew smoke or minimal. It does missfire until in the high range. Flow is good untill the injectors. Spark is good. Timing is good. Drove it good from work. Waited an hour and then this happened when i tried to start it

coolant temp sensor maybe? or o2 sensor?

does it come good again, and then play up again? or is it just playing up all the time now?

all the plugs still look ok even after its been playing up?

haven't got any hoses disconnected in between the air flow sensor and the manifold? (do they have air flow sensor or map sensor?? i'm not sure), check for any unmetered air into the engine.

i do cheat a bit in these situations, i have a four gas analyser at work, pretty easy to tell if its rich or lean and whats causing it (most of the time)

Unplug your air flow meter (located just after the air filter) and start the engine, if it runs better, your air flow meter is dodgy

slight build up of corrosion on electrical terminals in plug, when you unplug and re plug the connector the friction cleans the terminals and the problem goes away. the other one to watch out for is loose pin grip within a plug... all sorts of weird intermittant problems....
