ok one last time just to clear it up SPEED SENSOR....





your still reading great i am guessing when hooking the speed sensor with a tacho dash from a carby L, you wire from the ej ecu http://images.benandmichelle.net/dis...?album=7&pos=0 pin 11 plug B106 to one of the screws in the back of my gauge cluster? then the other side to earth? with a screw put in the hole with the zigzagy mark to activate it?

am i even in the ball park?

now i have my dash out but all i was reading on these boards was really hard to figure out.

below is a pic of speedo side of the cluster.

the red marks are connected from the bottom right of the speedo to the pin some one described as 5'oclock.

what else do i connect to or is my wire from the ej ecu straight to the pin enough?

there is a pin with -^^- like marking but it doesn't appear to connect to anything on the back of the board.



i'm also having trouble pulling codes it seems to just flash consitantly i'll try to take alittle vid to post up if i'm missing anything.

In reference to the thread title -> Welcome to the club... we haven't been able to arrange jackets yet...

The "fault code" that your looking at may be like the EA82 MPFI - when all the sensors are working as they should the ECU trouble lamp will flash according to the Oxy sensor output/feed - don't ask me why this is as no one has told me, not that I remember anyway. This bugged me for about a year until someone wrote it up somewhere on the forum.

That's about all the help I am I'm sorry, I can't help you with the speed sensor questions.
