Hi all , a while back finally found one of these in a wreck that I could remove the screws from and get out intact .

I decided to finally change mine (was typical off or flat out) and as usual one of the screws refused to budge . The tip stripped and the only way to get it out was to destroy the old resisters mounting on one side and fight with the head of the screw with small vise grip pliers . Not an easy job but it finally came out with a very sad looking head .
The new one went in with a coat of Never Seize on the screw's threads so that if there is a next time they should come out easily .
Possibly silicon grease may have been a bit more heat resistant .

Four speed breeze available now , cheers A .

And I thought this was going to be a technical question.
