Outback "bucking" in low gears

It is most likely to be a broken centre hub in the Dual Mass Flywheel. It is very common in the Outback and Forester. The EJ25 does put the extra torque through the box and Subaru didn't wish to keep replacing gearbox whilst in the warranty period.TOONGA wrote:warped flywheel or one of those horrific dual mass flywheels.
I would suggest changing to a Solid Mass Flywheel from an earlier Outback and also use the standard clutch. I wouldn't go the HD clutch kit as clutches are cheaper to replace than gearboxes.
