but that's why you still have the bushings there:

see on the far right of that bar's it looks like the stock bar (ie where the bushings go). it's only on the wheel side of the bushings that changes and ads that extra bit of flexibility in there

or, would it allow the arm to move too much? ie under force it pushes back on the joint, pushing the bushings part upwards and effectively shortening the bar for that brief moment???
