Air con?

Hi guys and gals,

I just joined up after buying a 1990 brumby to play with( I have always wanted one)

I would like to know if the air con system and power steering out of a L series would fit into the brumby?

Any info would be much appriciated and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Yes and no, the rack will fit in but you have to change a few things and it is not a straight forward bolt in. You would be best to try and get hold of an MY touring wagon and get the power steering and the Ac from it. The EA81 power steering pump was a way different setup to the L series setup however the turbo engines utized the same EA82 pump and line setup. Note also that EA81 steering racks have different threaded lines to all other models.
