FYI: According to my stats, that range would be normal. But I have this dysfunction in my brain that prevents me driving economically for a whole tank. Wears off shortly after the memory of how much I paid for the fuel fades.92subbie wrote:What else can it be... i am getting 11-12L/100km which i think is terrible considering when i first got the car it would get 9-10L/100km. Its not like im doing stop start city driving, this is country km's with trips ranging between 15-30mins.
Can anyone offer any further information?
I just went and checked my old L-Series wagon fuel stats and noticed I averaged 12.35l/100km over 23000km. Car had just under 250000km on it at the end of that period. Best I got was 9.41L/100km (ULP) and worst was 15.11L/100km (Premium ULP). It actually used more on premium fuels, but went better with advanced timing
