Snapped bolt in captive nut

Post by Cam » Sat Nov 03, 2007 3:31 pm

After trying realy hard for this not to happen, i stupidly snapped a rear torsion bar bolt in a captive nut when doing the rear lift, I've heard a few ways of removing the remainder of the bolt but any good ideas would help. Really really frustrated now.

Is the bolt high tensile? If not, drill a hole in it (not always the easiest thing to do) and get an ezyout onto it, should do the trick - just don't break the ezyout and you should be right...
