L series CLutch Cables

Post by Matatak » Mon Oct 15, 2007 1:06 am

can someone confirm what differences there are between Lseries Clutch cables.
2WD cables beign different to 4WD cables i think but what about 1st gen to 2nd gen Lseries did they use the same cable?.

gonna be ordering one so i need one which had the bracket on it i cna adapt to bolt onto my pedal box. dont wanna get one that dont have it or may not be right length or something stupid.

eg if i jsut say to the subaru dude 1990 Lseries 4wd clutch cable will it work. they arent to nice when u want a part if u dont have something to tell em like atleast a year (dont think they wanna have to go searching or something stupid)

are they possible to get form Covs or Veales?

MY ?? be shorter wouldn't they in 4WD. at the time I replaced my 84 Brumby crutch cable flexible drive agencies only did a pre 84 cable that was adaptable. L series turbo cables were shorter due to the mechanism at pedal to reduce load on left knee.
