have trouble starting ea82t

broke timing belt, replaced no problems all re timed , would not start. check all leads and conections still no go tried different things for houres the it started. when for a run missing on boost retimed running fine. Went to work all ok washed car no go. got ract to come had a very small water bubble cleaned out and of she went. got home started fine, went to start next time no go. check every thing again all semed fine try a few time no go the of she went again any ideas would be great.

What do you mean by had "a very small water bubble cleaned out"?

I will take two quick stabs at this and suggest - water or condensation in distributor (does the EA82T have a dizzy?), or corrosion as a result.

Or the classic - bad earth somewhere.
