Engine stalled in 5th at 90k's need help
Okay i was driving to work this morning doing 90 kmh on the tonkin in 5th suddenly lost power started slowing down, i managed to pull over and it started up again without a problem and went all the way to work without any trouble.

Those intermittent faults can be really difficult to track down. If you can work out if it is a spark or fuel related problem that would give you a good starting point. If you did the ECU code check with the engine off, key on, then from memory code 12 is normal and they all will give you that code. It's something to do with ignition switch or something like that.
mine keeps dying to
hey guys i am new. but i am having the same prob. ivr got an 83 sportswagon leone model. and i can be driving along at 100km\h and it will just die. my car is carburetted so its not the computer. its an ea81. i know that it definetley needs a tune. i have to drive around with the choke on a lil bit so it doesnt die. but it dies at 100 and it scares the shit out of you when you are turning a corner and you lose brakes and steering. any help would be appreciated.
100 not out
Hi Mate.
Theres a big screw with a spring on the base of the carby facing the radiator.Turn this one half turn to the left. theres a small screw with a spring on your accelerator cable turn this to the right untill the engine idle increases slightly. That will help untill you can get it tuned.
Cheers Pete
