Subaru L series replacement bullbar to fit subaru brumby?

as the tital says will a '84 subaru L series bull bar fit a '85 subaru brumby?

if not a strait fit can it be dont with some modification?

It's hard to say because the L didn't really come out till 1985 so I guess the best way is to show us some pictures :) if the 84 model is the MY series then it would fit straight on the Brumby.. if it's the L series model then it can fit with some modifications :)

I looked at this idea and gave up and modded a chunky tube Navara? to fit Brumby. All Brumby dimensions of MY look should be the same through the years. The L series had heavy brackets that bolted up to chassis rails first. If they fit to the Brumby then may be only spacing to fit?

wagonman made a brumby bullbar fit on a L series. he had to cut the sides and mod etc.

not sure for L series ones on a brumby

youll find thats a 94 l-series not an 84.

Itd take too much modifications to fit it imho.

Yeah DLJ.. would take a bit of work but if you can't find one from a Brumby then give it a go :cool:
