Why don't you just book it into Maximum Motor Sports and get it sorted properly, they specialise in Autronics & is it really worth saving a few bucks on a new build trying to do it yourself?

Hang on, you call it a miss and won't really rev beyond? Surely a miss will be there but not prevent you from whole rev range. Two problems?
I had a run in a EJ20G Brumby running MTX8 ECU that had a miss at a narrow band of temp (a few degrees either side of the desired op temp) and not when cold or hotter. It was pretty harsh but not limit rev range. Never got to the end of it as the owner is locked up awaiting sentence or release. And Aaron, if you are reading this, I am not sure what to think, but I'd give up on the MJ CDs - not a good look for a grown man
