98 EJ AWD Auto into 84 L Series
I have a factory workshop manual pdf for 97-98 Imprezas. Wiring section is about 12 MB, whole thing is 169MB, so too big to attach here. Got an email addy?
I couldn't find any off the shelf radiators close to the right specs for my conversion. Most are too tall or way too small. Ended up with a copper/brass two-row MY one badly modified, modified again, then butchered to fit. Do what Andrew said above - take your original in, and ask for one just like it but with two rows. And don't go to Odin Radiators.
Dane.

Yeah it's borderline being an `84 model but given it's an EA82 auto I'd say it's an L series.Suby Wan Kenobi wrote:Just to clarify its going into an L series not an MY, L series is fine but into an MY the transmission tunnel is not big enough to fit an EJ auto.

It's in really good condition, bottom of front guards are stuffed but thats about it really. No rust showing around the front screen. The paint has lost its clear on the bonnet and around the roof. It drove perfect with the ea82 auto. No ticking noise and didnt use oil or water, no knocks or creaks and Off road it went great. Electric windows work, air con worked. But wanted more power. Now just have to finish it.
