interior colour paint question

Hi sorry if in wrong section but was after opinions regarding what i could use to paint the interior plastic trim in a car. i have seen vinyl spray paint (supercheap)before and have used it successfully on motorcycle vinyl seats and was wondering if it would be ok on the hard plastic trim. i damaged the original ones when we did a bit of rust repair and the replacments are a different colour. cheers
