I'm driving a (borrowed, unfortunately) 2002 Outback H6 at the moment, and one of its very few faults is a little clicking sort of noise out of the steering wheel as it is turned, like something's catching. Seems to be the same in both directions. Not a big issue, but if there's a simple fix, I'd like to give it a go. Any ideas?
It's got the factory Momo airbag wheel, if that matters.
Dane.

have you checked the fluid level? Is on stationary the noise appears while steering or it appears while in motion?

Possibly catching on the rubber seal that goes through the firewall? Mine makes a bit of noise.
