Bad News...Groover has taken a hit.

Sad and angry household at the moment..
While walking on sunset tuesday night with Sascha and Coops, Groover was run over by a neighbour in a landcruiser.

He thought 40 kms/h was cool when a family with a pram is standing on a concrete ford.

Groover was ripped from my grasp and got badly hit.

Tough as he is a SWB landcruiser will always win that fight.
A fine friend did the run to Hobart to the vet for us in the middle of the night,
(5 hours round trip...in the middle of shearing...thank you Adam)

He is the most sore creature I have ever seen.

Cracked pelvis, 25 stitches to two major lacerations and about a square foot of skin missing.

He is home and will heal, but my anger is indescribable!

Oh and $1250 lighter in the wallet too.

Yes it will all heal but you can imagine how he is feeling.
All his muscle is detatched from his bones and skin so he is sort of mushy and lumpy.
His belly and groin is almost skun.

I have been to see the police and a solicitor.

Action is pending.

Volcanic Fury would sum it up for me.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Be very interested to know if there is anything police/courts can do. Please let us know how it goes.

Yes followed us and shouted abuse at us while I was running home carrying the Groove and having a heart attack from the sudden burst of energy.

Adam is a very good friend, as are all my friends.
I am fussy that way.
Poor bugger was tired the next day.

Ah gees, lucky... I thought you were going to say groover was dead for a second there! Very lucky to still have him.
Poor fella, its always a crap feeling when a pet is hurt and they can't understand whats happening.
Two thumbs up for Adam as well!
Keep us posted on his improving health!

Ahh that poor little fella, all the best of luck.

I hate it how people can't take responsibility for things these days, its always the other persons fault.

That really sucks, Groover is synonymous with Cranbrook. Be thankful it wasn't any worse, it certainly could have been.
Its good to hear that action was taken quickly and he is on the path to recovery.

Huge kudos to Adam as well, what a legend.

As for pushing Groover under the wheels, what is this guy on? What a pathethic excuse for incompetence! It seems he made no attempt to slow down and likely didn't even push the vehicle to the far side of the crossing.

A credit to you for doing the right thing by going to police and a solicitor, I fear I may have reacted a little more rashly under the circumstances.

GET WELL SOON GROOVER
