Timing Belt

Post by saxon.hall.00 » Thu Aug 28, 2008 12:01 pm

Hey,

I have recently bought a Subaru, L Series, sports wagon, 1.8L, 89 model
and think its a good idea to get the timing belt changed in it as I am not shore when it was last changed.

Just wondering if anyone knows how much this will cost?
I have done some research and some people are saying about 250 and some 300.

Just after some opinions on price and if it is a hard process.

Cheers.

i think from subaru, they are roughly $80-$90 each.
not too hard to replace, probably around 2-3 hours to change if you have never done it before.
For subaru do do it, they charge roughly 300 to change it inc the belts.
