Sorry, really bad spelling - its been about 5 or 6 yrs since I was there - the town I'm talking about is 'Strahan' check it out on whereis.com.au that's where I found the correct spelling.

Cheers

More like an hour below. I think it's about 70km from memory.

In my old '78 Lancer I did Strahan to Queenstown in 32 minutes... Shaved 4 minutes off my mate that was in an auto Impreza... I think he was just scared of damaging the work vehicle...

Well, I'm thinking for practicality reasons, if there are any Uni students here, that the best dates would be between the 1st September and the 8th September; as that's when mid semester break is.
Of course you could to a weekender before then, just a suggestion.

Hey mate, your more than welcome to come along, so is your brother.
There would most likely be a free seat somewhere as another option.

uni hols are no good for me, get more work and play done in 10 days than an entire semester, noosa -> mt field -> flinders island = holidays gone.
No chance of having the beige beast fixed by then anyway.

Early october would be looking better for me, I know thats a long way away and that sucks.

Thoughts?

early october is crap and completely out 4 us uni students as thats getting to the tail end of the semester and heading into exam time... the best time 4 us would be anytime after mid-november.
If u guys decide that ur going 2 do a 4wd trip i'm gunna have 2 say my car's not gunna make it, but i'll definately be there!

I'm a uni student too and its definatly not out.
There only exams.
Although showing up mega hungover is not advisable...

Real life is so much better :)

What are you studying?

Well with a big thanks to mattl200,
my lib now sits a little higher with standard kings and ob struts, making it ready I guess, for a little fun, off the beaten track (beaten track being tarmac). I'm usually free on weekends, just need notice usually.
