My plan has changed somewhat. My brother and his mate have asked me to run across the simpson with them as a backup as they will be on their bikes. So for now, I'll be doing what I did in 2007 and leaving the week before the race and hope to be in Alice for scrutineering at the very least. Then scoot home rather quickly as time will most likely be short....but all this hinges on my new work giving me holidays, or something like that ;)

I need to know for catering, who will be at the overnight camp at Apatula?
At this stage it looks like Wilbur and his brother. Anyone else?

If anyone else is contemplating....., the spectator weekend pass costs $35 and gets you into everything without queing/paying everytime. It won't get you into the pits though.

Dane: Have you got a bed yet? Aren't you flying out with B & M?

brumbyrunner, my brother isn't going to be with me, but my mate and his girl that came out to gundi will be there.

So it's just the 3 of you then? Do they want weekend passes or pay as they go?

Did you get my email? (check your email!)

IMO i think we are already 4-5 degrees cooler than last year at the same time.
easiest way i can think of is just wear the clothes you had on or if changing just put on the new duds and go to bed fully clothed. the more layers the warmer you will be!!

Old style swags seem to hold heat than the tent style.

it REVVVVing up in town too, a few of the interstate and o/s people are already here

BRING IT ON:)
