So I managed not to crash the chopper, although mr instructor had to save us a couple of times after he decided he would let me try and hover about 5 foot of the ground. Who'd have though if you twitch at the wrong moment your off in another direction bwwwahahahahaa. I'm hooked. Just need to make some money to pay for it. In the mean time I think I will start my theory.
Sorry to all the pic requests, my hands were a little full. This is the bird, but not me in the pic

Becker Helicopters at Maroochydore. Plenty of cheaper places if you wanted to just have a go.

oh so jealous:mrgreen:, never been in a chopper, so instructor let you at the collective on introductory lesson, so cool!
On my cessna intro flight the instructor let me land it,and I was hooked, so cool, i think he only did some minor trim adjustment over mine - I must be a natural eh! FlightSim does indeed help with the basics and knowledge, but the real world perspective is just fabulous:p

Yep got all the controls after a demo and feal of what each does. I'd reccomend doing it, even if you have no desire to pursue it any further.

It is worth the drive Mike just to see the cars not to mention the bikes. You'd go crazy with all those 2 wheelers around.

I am pretty confident I will be there if the Brumbyrunner crew is. Might fly out this time though.

I have just been talking to Stuart about that. We are going to fly/hire/fly this year as we will be limited for time for other things otherwise.

Sounds like a plan to me. Will be in a new job (once I sign some stuff) so don't think I'll have much leave owing by then.

New job again? For real this time?

So if you want to fly we're going to have to decide on a different plan for the overnight stop at Apatula.

Hire vehicles are excellent for fast offroading. Wilbur would love to through Jim's tools in the back of a troopie and head off down the dirt.

Sounds like you're going into business?
I could do with some fencing repairs after the wet but it would be more like April or May.
I think it would really suit you Wilbur, bring your own car with all your gear, camp out every night, all the fishing, shooting and 4WDing you could handle. Struth, that sounds good, I might have to do it myself!

ZW work hack, I like that.
It may not be there next year if we get our gooseneck finished.
It's not that we don't trust you wilbur........

Damn, looks like I'll get my HR license in my time off then :)

Not going into business, just going to work for a rather large company doing procurement.
