there have been times that i have wished i lived in Adelaide to see Steves work. Tell your mate he is lucky.

In Adelaide you can't really go past Steve at Rising Sun, something I can vouch for. I can't think of any other business that knows the L series and subarus in general as good as the guys there. If your mate just needs a tune up or service then his regular mechanic should be okay but anything L or soob specific is better off in the hands of a pro.

I have to agree, Steve at Rising Sun is the best in Adelaide with Subby's. The work he has done on mine is great and cannot be faulted.

S&J are very good - esp for later model subarus
Steve at Rising Sun is a guru (esp L, MYs, Liberties), honest, & realiable
Note - not just subarus - his staff and equipment can handle just about anything on 4 wheels. And a great exhaust shop next door (Gepps X Exhausts - Dave).
And Matt, yes people do travel as far away as NT for significant mods / rebuilds etc
