Hey guys. I haven't been around here for ages, and used to be in an L series, but I recently picked up a Brumby! Count me in if you'll have me. :-)

Thanks all.

I did create this group, now I'l try and work out what this means I can do forum wise with it ----???

It was initially a method of finding out who here on the forum were SA based and were perhaps interested in meeting up and possibly being "co-operative" in some fashion. Early days yet.

Ha! I must have.

So has anyone worked out how AuSubaru makes groups useful?

From my newly acquired understanding of vBulletin software's groups feature I think we would all be better off giving henpecked our email addresses and him sending a group email that we can then reply to everyone and create a 'conversation' using the 'reply all' button.

Well now I must apologize Geoff, you did indeed send me an invite to this group...many months ago  And for some reason this webiste never alerted me to the fact. By that I mean for PM's I get a pop-up alert so I know when I get a PM. But for this group invitation I got nothing! Didn't even know there was a special category in the user CP for pending requests on this site.

Until this morning when I logged on using my phone and there the site said I had 1 invitation pending  Because I never normally log on using my phone it's taken until now for me to see this.

Anyway, hope this group accepts late arrivals
Will it ever end!?

PM from Brumby_ProjectX

brumby group sa
Hey mate can you add me to your brumby group list? I tried to post on the thread but it wont let me. Btw there is a brumby at upullit elizabeth and 2 early wagons... I have pulled drum brakes off them but they are all shot... few good bit still on them though. Ended up getting 2 drums from city dismantlers and After changing all the brakes (disks, pads, drums and shoes) i cant get my brakes working even though I've spent 3 day trying to bleed them... so may may need some input from a few locals...

Thanks, Graeme

DONE ! :)

So I can't see anyway of using this group over and above what this South Australia part of AuSubaru offers. What I think is needed, the best option for including everyone, is a mailing list. Saying that, I've created a mailing list that I can sign people up to. This means that all you need is a email address and we can all communicate. I've hosted it on my web host, it's completely private so no spam. Only I can sign people up to it.

What do you think? If everyone in SA wants to be in direct contact we use this mailing list?

I started this little group, and I had expected that there was some way of doing a group PM, but if there is -- I can't find it. :(

So I think its a great idea to have people sign up to this group ( so we can also follow each others posts here) and then also sign up to Phiz's mailing list on the other site - particularly as even if someone can show me that there is a group PM facility available here - the PM boxes seem to fill up quickly - so direct email would be a great solution.

I'm in :D
