Come and Try Rallysprint - 30/04/2006

Our rally club is hosting a Come and Try day at Truro (40mins from Adelaide on the Sturt Highway).

The following members from this forum will be running:
RSRLegacy (Paul) - Subaru Legacy or better.
STi_Dan (Daniel) - Mazda Familia
Flat04 (Andrew) - Subaru RX Turbo

Basically the State Rally Sprint Championship is being held on the Saturday finishing at about 10:00pm, camping setup for Saturday night and the Come and Try it day on the Sunday. The organisers are still waiting on the Supp Regs to be approved but entry fee for the day which gives you your CAMS Day license and entry will be $55.00

We will be racing on the Saturday and I will be running on Sunday as well. Paul and Dan should be running as well on the Sunday and we are always more than happy to take people for a spin in the rally cars during the day as well.

Anyone from here interested in coming up and giving their Subarus a bit of a run on the rally tracks and coming for a spin in the rally cars? Would be pretty good to get some more Subaru nuts up there to campout on Saturday after watching the best rally cars in the state compete Saturday afternoon then giving it a bit of a try on Sunday.

I will be there with my 96 import WRX STI. On Sunday both my cars will be available for rides etc. The cost is $5.00 per person for the whole day to cover insurances etc.. This means that you can ride with anyone that has their car out there for the purpose if you ask. If anyone has a GOOD motorbike type helmet, please bring it, as they must be worn. Also, long sleeves,pants and covered footwear is needed to ride or even put your own car in.
