if you saw the esteemed Sunday Mail, the two page spread of the MVC site detailing which bit belonged to which car is a graphic way of explaining mess when things go bad at high speed

poor WRX.

The skyline deserved it just for the thought that it could even beat a subie :P

The drivers did not deserve what happened to them but they were pretty stupid. AFAIK the WRX driver was thrown around 15 meters from his car and died instantly but the skyline driver walked away with a severed leg.

hah yeah, that would be a bit of a struggle.

More he dragged himself away.

Apparently now his other leg might have to be amputated as well

I might sound hard and callous but they both got what they deserved and I have no sympathy for them.

i will second that. there are places for that type of thing called drag strips and race tracks if they were smart enough they would group up and hire a drag strip or race track for the day or night and then by all means go and kill yourself with out putting the innocent in danger thats my 2 cents.

CORRECTION:

there USED to be drag strips and raceways for that sort of thing

there still is, theres just less and less public events for these people.

all tho not better there are slightly safer places to go to rather than suburban streets.

I a truly horrified at this crash but, there are now less people endangering my wife and child,on the street.

shame those blokes couldn't be botherd with a proper race track.

agree. Its truely horrific, I pity the locals that were woken to such a sight and had to deal with it (I know a few of them).
Put these clowns on a race track and they would soon learn a fast car doesn't make you a race driver. but on a race track they can run out of talent without killing themselves or their mates. You won't find Stobie poles on the side of a track.....
Same old story, young testosterone fueled lads always think they are untouchable.
