S.A Meet Up casual cruise and 4x4 #2

Post by BRUMBI » Tue Mar 17, 2009 4:42 pm

now every ones seen the tracks and fun we get up to sounds like the are more people keen to come along. so was thinking of holding another on the 28th/3rd/2009 in two weeks, probs be the same route. so for now Saturday 28th bring some lunch down to moana beach around 12 ish have lunch then head off. ya can drive on the beach (if ya have to pay to get on the beach then we will just park somewhere else its $5 some days). uhf ch 10 should be good if any one gets lost.

hit get directions, B is were the ramp is http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sour ... =UTF8&z=16

defiantly offr oad, but we do have a stock l series wagon on 13s come and enjoys itself. all the tracks are avoidable if ya just want to. you will have more fun in a offroader.

which one ya gonna bring?

moana beach isn't a problem if its the normal beach, commodores and other family cars drive out and park on it in summer while going for a swim. i cant air down on retreads so i hope it is the public part.

yeah, no problem on the beach. Its a cruise from track to track so no airing down should be done .

I can bring either my old ER27 girl which is better off road or Daniels EG33 which is still lifted but not as good off road but much quicker so more fun?

There will be more road then offroad.. But following in a pack doesn't make going quicker easy. Your choice.

No problem I will pinch Daniels, I keep at him to finish it off so I will give it a good run.
12 noon at Moana right? Please look out for a red brumby, I haven't been to Moana in over 25 years but I should find it.

I think BRUMBI (Kai) said its for 1pm, but its a bit late to make sure of all that. I'll probably be there a little earlier then 12:30, and I'll wait around for sure to 1pm just in case.

I'll be heading out to U-pull It in the morning so if anyone is interested in joining my bother and I you're welcome. They are open til 12 and we'll probably get there around 10 or 11am.

Here is a map of moana, the red circle is a roundabout and the line is the road down to the ramp onto the beach.

Cheers Kai for setting that up. Had a great time once again. And this time not so much damage.
I posted some pictures on OffroadingSubarus.
